Cooking Sections

Cooking Sections (Daniel Fernández Pascual & Alon Schwabe) is a London-based duo of spatial practitioners. They explore systems that organise the world through food. Using installation, performance and mapping, their research-based practice operates within the overlapping realms of visual arts, architecture and geopolitics. They were part of the U.S. Pavilion, 2014 Venice Architecture Biennale, and their work has also been exhibited at the Neue Nationalgalerie and HKW, Berlin; Storefront for Art & Architecture New York; dOCUMENTA(13); Peggy Guggenheim Collection; CA2M, Madrid; TEDx Talks Madrid; Fiorucci Art Trust, London; 2014 Kortrijk Biennale; Victoria & Albert Museum, London; UTS Sydney; CCA, Glasgow. They have also been residents in The Politics of Food at Delfina Foundation, London. In 2015 they were recipients of a research grant from Fundación Jumex Arte Contemporáneo, Mexico.
