Tango is a vibrant and playful dance between two people. It has very rich potential for expression, improvisation and connection. It is often described as a passionate dance, because of the close connection partners can have, the character of the music, and also relating to the dance's history.
Every friday Apéro Tango offers you a taste of Argentinian culture. First, a lesson introducing you to the tango – the music, history and body movement. Then a milonga, a social place to dance, have a talk and meet new people.
Flavia Morari was born in Brazil and began dancing at the age of 7, starting her journey into tango at the age of 12. She studied in Buenos Aires and worked as a professional tango dancer in South America and Europe. Today she puts her knowledge in service of her dance and students, to share a tango that is both historic and modern, an inimitable style, and last but not least, a lot of pleasure.
Andrès Surra, from Uruguay, is a dancer trained in the late 1990s, during the time of a big tango revival in Europe. A huge fan of improvisation, extremely rhythmic, musical and creative, over the years Andrès built a dance characterised by the complexity of its steps, the plasticity of the movement and the enjoyment of dancing together.
