Rares is a Romanian Brussels based artist-researcher developing food performances centred on affect, collaboration and factual information. His food performances are concerned with the increasingly good knowledge we have about what is good for human and environmental health, and, at the same time the huge gap between our knowledge and policy, eating habits and urban food culture, precisely because these are tightly constrained by the interests of giant corporations.
