Aleppo
Aleppo is a laboratory for experiments in performance and politics. It is an independent, Brussels-based platform engaging with temporary programs of reflection, in each case assuming a different format and taking as its starting point a specific question which resonates as urgent in our time. Each proposal is conceived as a 'white hole': a gap around which an ephemeral community gathers; a temporary fracture in the surface of time, from which a stream of open questions can emerge. Through a residency at the Académie Royale des Beaux Arts, Aleppo hosts its activity space at the Bâtiment Vanderborght in Brussels.
